We are taking you back to last October when Over the Top Rentals joined forces with Starlight Design, Rhubarb, Rob Van Helden Floral Design, Elizabeth’s Cake Emporium, I Power Lighting, Serena Bolton photography, Hire the Barman, Great Hire and Champagne Jacquart to host a showcase at Somerset House themed around the Four Seasons.
The event unravelled in the venue’s east wing, which had been converted into an eye catching setting with one room for each season.
The Spring space had a table display with an orchid tree and our pale aqua green cherry blossom linen.
The Summer room featured a table placed on a grass lawn, with our OTT custom designed French Voiles linen, with a blue corded ribbon decorating the edges of the table. Rob Van Helden created picnic baskets, stone candelabra’s and cracked pots with pink and green florals inside .
The Autumn space had our retro brown linen and was decorated with bespoke furniture including Chandelle chairs from Great Hire along with brown draping and fruit and vegetable trees adorning the table.
Winter, which was inspired by the Christmas holidays featured a revolving table with crystal William Yeoward vases and red flowers surrounding a tiered cake by Elizabeth’s Cake Emporium. Our burgundy taffeta with a burgundy velvet topper was showcased in this room and was made especially for this event. To treat guests we had a liquid nitrogen stall with chefs preparing freshly made ice cream and desserts, it was a real feast for the eyes!
There were seasonal cocktails served in each of the rooms by the talented Hire The Barman, while Rhubarb served mouthwatering canapés and bowl food- the gourmet popcorn went down a treat!
I thoroughly enjoyed working with an array of creative individuals, this event is one that I won’t forget anytime soon 🙂
Hope you enjoyed reading this, love OTT XX
